Vito with refrigerated body fittings

The Mercedes Vito with a refrigerated body is based on the long version of the van with a standard height roof. The vehicle easily beats the new DIN standard for refrigeration efficiency with a coefficient of heat transfer well below 0.4W/square metre Kelvin. In addition to this efficient fit out you also get guide rails as standard, as well as an aluminium floor and a drainage system that is built into the body. You can store a lot of chilled goods in this variant with a load capacity of 3.5 cubic meters and a maximum load width of 1210 mm. The body is complemented by a vast array of special equipment including a self cleaning system for the refrigerated space, a refrigeration system that can run independantly and an air curtain. Better still, the driver and passengers can benefit from air conditioning as the cargo refrigeration system is independant of the engine.
