MobilityGo benefits extended by a year for all vehicles registered after 1st January 2011.
All new Sprinter and Vito vans registered within the UK from 1st January 2011 come with a free 3 year MobilityGo package. This package will keep you mobile anywhere within the UK and most of Continental Europe.*
The Mobility Go benefit comes into force if:
1. The vehicle is stranded by the roadside and/or cannot be started due to a technical fault or driver error, e.g. Wrong fuel, running out of fuel, flat battery, punctures, lost keys, locked out or accident. Please note failures to driver abuse or inadequate maintenance are not covered.
2. The vehicle has been driven into a Mercedes-Benz Authorised Repairer by the customer and the vehicle requires a warranty repair, which will take over two hours.**
What is covered?
1. Free Roadside Assistance.
2. Free recovery for the vehicle (and any trailer) to the nearest Mercedes-Benz Authorised Repairer in the event of the vehicle not being repaired by the roadside.
3. The return of the vehicle to the customer within a 25 mile radius of the Authorised Repairer free of charge.
4. Public Transport and/or taxi fare, up to the value of £55 including VAT.
5. A free lift from the Authorised Repairer within a 25 mile radius of the workshop.
As an alternative to the options 3, 4 and 5 above, collection and delivery of a replacement vehicle for the duration of the repair can be organised at the Mercedes-Benz Authorised Repairer for a maximum of 5 days (subject to availability).
*A full list of all markets where your vehicle is covered is available on request. Processes may vary outside the UK.
** Third Year Workshop Mobility only valid within the UK.
