It came to me in a flash of inspiration this morning that most of our customers probably don’t know about how flexible the options are when it comes to us servicing their Mercedes van or truck…..
For starters, of course we offer traditional servicing in the sense that you can book a slot, drop your vehicle off and return later that day to pick it up. However in most cases you need your van or truck and without it, its almost impossible for you to work. We all enjoy a day off now and then, but surely that should be at your leisure and not your vehicles!
So, at S&B we wanted to make owning a Mercedes van or Mercedes truck a truly rewarding experience and that starts with customer service and what we can offer you when it comes to you checking your vehicle in for a service:
For those customers that want to drop their vehicle off and return later in the day, we can offer arrange to lend you a Mercedes van to get around in. At least that way you don’t lose a days work and you can avoid paying a couple of taxi fares to get too and from the dealership. If you want to take advantage of a loan van it pays to book it well in advance, as we have a limited supply and after reading this, I’m sure that many of our customers will be taking advantage of it!
At our branch in Welham Green, we offer a new Van Express Service. Customers that use this service have two dedicated bays in a separate part of the workshop where there are a limited number of slots each day. These are best utilised for servicing and minor replacement work (for example changing brake pads) and enable us to offer our customers a ‘while you wait service’. On site we have a canteen, TV and vending machines to help you to relax in comfort and in the near future we hope to provide our customers with wireless broadband and maybe even a pc to help them work while their Mercedes van gets some TLC.
As I said earlier, it’s often inconvenient to get your Mercedes van or truck serviced during working hours. Perhaps I should have qualified that by saying ‘during your working hours’. Our branch at Stansted is open until 12am on weekdays and our branches at Thurrock and Welham Green are open 24 hours from Monday at 7am right through until Saturday at 1pm. Great! now you can sleep while your van or truck is serviced!
And finally…… you know that canteen that I mentioned at Welham Green? If you smile and ask our service team nicely, they have often been known to hand out the odd breakfast voucher when you check your vehicle in!
